Senator Bailey has been contacted by numerous constituents concerned about proposed cuts to the Maryland State Police – Aviation Unit. One of the options being currently studied and considered is the closure of one of the aviation units bases. As a former public safety officer himself, Senator Bailey understands how critical access to care is and the importance of supporting our first responders, therefore he submitted the below letter for consideration by the Board of Public Works who will be making the final decision on these proposals.
