Senator Jack Bailey has been recognized for supporting policies to help promote public health in Maryland.
Senator Bailey received an award from the Maryland Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons (MSEPS) in appreciation of his “efforts to protect high quality medical and surgical eye care for patients in Maryland” during the 2019 Legislative Session. Senator Bailey was one of three legislators to receive this award. He accepted the award at MSEPS’s annual membership meeting in Baltimore on Thursday, October 3.
As a member of the Senate’s Education, Health, and Environmental Affairs Committee, Senator Bailey is involved in the consideration of occupational regulations for health care in Maryland. Senator Bailey will continue to work in the State Senate to improve health care in our communities.
