St. Mary’s County Lincoln Reagan Dinner

On Thursday, October 17, Senator Jack Bailey addressed the annual Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner organized by the St. Mary’s County Republican Central Committee.  In his remarks, he discussed his ongoing efforts in Annapolis to help improve District 29 and the state of Maryland as a whole, and encouraged those present to be engaged on the issues that are important to them, their families, and their community.  In addition, Senator Bailey spoke about the importance of Presidents Lincoln and Reagan in our nation’s history as leaders who were able to bring people together in divisive times through their integrity, loyalty, and courage to do the right thing.

Senator Bailey also recognized the St. Mary’s County Republican Party’s Man and Woman of the Year at this event.  He presented citations to Tony Avak, who won the Man of the Year Award, and to Lynn Delahay, who won the Woman of the Year Award and also serves as Senator Bailey’s Local Liaison, to congratulate them on these honors.
